Time to Liquid stores your hydration data locally on your device.

We use Firebase only for account authentication. We do not sell your data, run ads, or share your personal information with third parties except as described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

• Email address, stored in Firebase, for account authentication
• Google account name and profile photo, stored in Firebase, when you use Google Sign-In
• Hydration logs such as drink type, volume, and time, stored on your device
• Daily goals and personal preferences, stored on your device
• Notification settings, stored on your device for hydration reminders
• We do not collect location data, contacts, camera access, or health data beyond what you manually log in the app

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your account securely
• Display your hydration history, streaks, and goal progress
• Send local hydration reminders entirely on-device without a server
• Sync your account across reinstalls through Firebase Authentication
• Your hydration data is never used for advertising, profiling, or analytics purposes

3. Firebase and Google Services

Time to Liquid uses Firebase Authentication, provided by Google LLC, to handle account login.

When you sign in with Google or email and password, your credentials are processed by Firebase. Google's privacy practices are described at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Firebase Authentication stores minimal account metadata such as your email, display name, and unique user ID to identify your account.

This account data is not linked to your in-app hydration logs, which remain on your device.

4. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

Your data is shared only in limited circumstances:

• Firebase Authentication only for your account credentials and basic account metadata
• Legal requirements when disclosure is required by applicable law or valid legal process
• No advertising networks, analytics providers, or data brokers receive information about you

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Your hydration logs and preferences are stored locally on your device using Hive, an encrypted local database.

This data remains on your device until you uninstall the app or manually clear it within the app's settings.

Your Firebase account data, including your email, can be deleted by contacting us at renvoyapp@gmail.com.

We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

6. Security

Local data is stored in a sandboxed application directory on Android and is inaccessible to other apps under normal platform protections.

Account authentication is handled by Firebase, which uses industry-standard encryption and security practices.

We do not store passwords directly. Firebase manages credentials securely on our behalf.

7. Children's Privacy

Time to Liquid is not directed at children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access the personal data we hold about you, correct inaccurate data, request deletion of your account and associated data, and object to or restrict certain processing.
